House rules

Welcome to Steinershausen! To make sure all guests feel comfortable, please follow these house rules. They form part of the accommodation contract. The German version is legally binding.

1. Arrival and departure
The apartment is available from 5 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, please leave the apartment by 10 am at the latest.

2. Quiet hours and laundry
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. Please keep music, TV and conversations at a low volume during this time. We run the house on renewable energy. To save energy and respect quiet hours, laundry can be done until 9 pm.

3. No smoking, no parties, visitors
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including e-cigarettes and shishas. In case of violation we charge a cleaning fee of €300 for special cleaning and odour removal. Parties, stag or hen parties and events of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. Persons not included in the booking may not stay overnight.

4. Pets
Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement and with our explicit consent. They may not go on beds or upholstered furniture.

5. Parking
Please park only in the designated spaces. We are only liable for damage to or theft of parked vehicles in cases of intent or gross negligence.

6. Waste separation
Please separate your waste (paper, plastic and packaging, organic waste, residual waste) and dispose of it in the outdoor bins before you leave.

7. Departure
Please leave the apartment tidy: wash the dishes or start the dishwasher and empty the fridge. Please log out of your private accounts (e.g. Netflix, Prime Video) on the smart TV.

8. Damage, keys and safety
Please report any damage to us immediately. Seriously damaged or unusable items will be charged at replacement value. If a key is lost through your fault, you bear the cost of replacing the lock. Barbecues with open fire, such as charcoal grills, are prohibited on the entire property for safety reasons. When leaving the apartment, please close windows and doors and switch off lights and appliances.

9. Wi-Fi and valuables
Wi-Fi is free of charge. Illegal downloads and sharing of copyrighted content are prohibited. You are liable for any legal violations committed via our Wi-Fi. We are only liable for money and valuables in cases of intent or gross negligence.
